Bug Alert

In the world of technology security, new forms of viruses, malware, and bugs are constantly on the rise. Here at T-Tech Solutions LLC we do our best to look out for our customer’s best interest and updating them on the dangers that exist and providing advice on how to best deal with those viruses. Today is no different, a bug labeled as the “Heartbleed” has surfaced. This bug allows attackers to break down the safety nets in place that most secure websites have, allowing access to your personal information.

Two known websites affected by this bug are Facebook and Google. Although both websites have stated they have fixed the issues, we at T-Tech Solutions LLC still advise that you change all your internet passwords. This bug allows access to important and sensitive information of users like email, banking, and finances. It’s important you take some time and change your passwords to sites that host your important information so the data doesn’t get stolen and cause a bigger issue. It would also be wise that you monitor your accounts for any irregular activity.

The company that owns the affected software has since released an update that fixes the problem, but proper measures should still be taken. At T-Tech Solutions LLC we do our best to stay up to date with bugs like this so we can warn our customers in time in the hope they can prevent issues from happening. If you have any questions on how to better prevent yourself from bugs like this, or need advice on how to set up security on your system, don’t hesitate to call us!
